What qualities to you look for in a man?
A sense of humor, first on my list. The ability to listen. Romantic; you have to be able to sweep me off my feet. I don't care what kind of work they do; but they have to make at least as much as I do. I tend to attract younger guys. Only because I still have a lot of life left in me. I will not let my age determine my frame of mind. Physical features I look for, and the first thing I notice, is the eyes. Nice teeth are a plus.
What do you dislike in a man?
I hate the macho attitude, that some guys get. A man should be strong and protective. But at the same time sensitive; and not afraid to cry. I do not like smokers. Especially cigars. YUCK! I don't like muscleheads. Guys who work out everyday don't have time for a relationship. Drinking too much is also a turn off.
What gets you through tough times?
My faith. Anytime I have doubts about my abilities. I pray. I cannot control what happens in my life. But I can control how I react to it. I won't allow people to push my buttons. I've learned patience, tolerance and acceptance.
What are some of the things you would like to do in the near future?
Snow and water ski. Scuba diving; and to visit Australia and Scotland.
What makes you feel good?
Backyard BBQ's with family and friends. Learning something new and challenging. Having people tell me I've changed their lives, with a kind word. Visiting the ocean and playing in the snow. And surprising people with small gifts and cards. Oh yes and a good hair day.
What is your greatest fear?
Well I think I watch too much TV. But I would have to say; nuclear war. If I'm going to be wiped out by a mushroom cloud. I want to die with my kids; and not be 100 miles away, watching the bomb wipe out my town. The other thing I fear; is to be forgotten when I die. Not that I want to be a historical figure or anything like that. But I want to be talked about 6 generations down the line.
